Codiaeum variegatum (Franklin Roosevelt) is a perennial with hard woody stems.  In addition, this small dense shrub has deep red glossy lanceolate leaves.  The speckled leaves have spots in light red and random lime solid green leaves. The captivating and unique colors of the croton make it an ideal choice to liven up any garden.
