Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Treeworld Wholesale, Inc. (“Treeworld,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit treeworldwholesale.com (the “Site”), contact us, or sign up for our emails. Treeworld is a wholesale tree nursery based in Homestead, Florida.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or share your information with us.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, request a quote, place an order, call or email us, or sign up for our newsletter, we may collect:

  • Name and company name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Mailing, billing and delivery addresses
  • Order details and the content of your messages to us
  • Payment details needed to process your payment by check, wire transfer or Zelle, or by credit card at our office. The Site is a catalog only and does not accept online payments

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the site that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

You can choose not to give us personal information. If you don’t, we may be unable to answer your inquiry, process an order, or send you updates.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and quote requests
  • Process, deliver and follow up on orders, including billing and invoicing
  • Send newsletters, availability updates and promotions, if you’ve signed up (see below)
  • Understand how visitors use the Site and which products are most popular, so we can improve it

  • Comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Email marketing

We send newsletters, availability lists and promotions only to people who sign up for them. We use Mailchimp (operated by Intuit Inc.) to manage our email list and send emails. When you subscribe, your name and email address are stored by Mailchimp, which also tells us whether emails are opened and which links are clicked. Mailchimp handles your data under its own privacy policy.

Unsubscribing: click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any marketing email, or email us at [email address]. We’ll remove you promptly. You may still receive non-marketing messages about orders or quotes you’ve requested.

Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies (small files stored in your browser) to keep it working and to understand how visitors use it. We use [Google Analytics — confirm, and list any others such as the Meta Pixel], which collects information about your visits and reports it to us in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Site may not work properly without them.

Do Not Track: some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. The Site does not currently respond to these signals.

  • Service providers who work on our behalf, such as Mailchimp (email), our website host, analytics providers, payment processors, and delivery or freight carriers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal reasons: when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena or court order, or is needed to protect our rights, property or safety, or those of others.
  • Business transfers: if Treeworld is sold, merged or reorganized, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No website or data transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to serve you, maintain our business records, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Email subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to review, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by contacting us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws; we will respond to requests as those laws require.

Photos and content on the Site

Photos, videos and other content on the Site are owned by Treeworld or its licensors and may not be copied or published without our written permission.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site or emailed to subscribers.
